That is what we dug out in the wardrobe area: Solid rock from the beginning of the 19th century when this building was erected. Fascinating!
A couple more „artefacts“ and the skein of cables above the long hallway are visible as well – the sloppily installed electric system lacks most standard security measures and its disassembly is the next goal on our checklist.
So far we’re very happy that we reached to the bottom of things in some places. (Yeah, well, no rock bottom jokes here)
