Dismantling the club, Episode II

We’re still working on the clean-up! Behind the formwork made of sheet metal we regularly find exciting artefacts from across over 30 years of club-sub-culture.

Eventually we also found material in various stages of decay beneath the sheet metal. Considering that most of the interior shows signs of wear there is most likely no alternative to dismantling literally all of it.

Gerald is sampling a dry-wall that sounds suspiciously hollow.
Afraid of heights?

Beneath every layer that we get off the wall we find another decade and another construction and design layer – and of course lots of funny and brassy profanities and street art.

Our growing mineral wool heap. The dark colored parts are nicotine and ash stenches.

Some cavities have just been filled with different materials for no obvious reasons.
The heap turned into a man-high tower by the end of the session.
